Sardinia’s magic
Villa Caterina is located in Punta Molara’s territory, in Monte Petrosu, in the municipality of San Teodoro. Along the coast several bays connected by short paths alternate. Not so far from Villa Caterina, there are Girgolu and Ginepro bays. Just 7 minutes away there is one of the most inviting beaches in the area: Brandichi Bay, in Capo Coda Cavallo, almost in front of the majestic island of Tavolara and the islet of Molara.
Villa Caterina is about two hours from Baunei, Mariolu and Gloritzè bays and Venus Pools, famous for their emerald-green waters. In less than 2 hours you can reach La Maddalena, accessible only by ferry from Palau.
For excursions’ lovers, Tepilora park is a must-see and is 45 minutes from Villa Caterina. Even the villages of Castelsardo and Galtellì, as well as the town of Alghero and Porto Cervo are very interesting.

reach us
By sea
Torrese Port is the nearest one, 18 km from Sassari. Arrivals are from Genova and Civitavecchia.
The following companies provide service to the port:
Grandi Navi Veloci • Tirrenia • Grimaldi Line. From the port you can reach the town center of Sassari by shuttle bus: ARST (079 2639200 – 079 2639206) 30 minutes trip.
Train
The main route leaves from Cagliari to Chilivani, passing through Oristano and finally arrive divided in two sections: one leads to Sassari and Torrese Port and the other leads to Olbia and Aranci Gulf. Every day, from Sassari to Cagliari, there are several rides: travel time is almost three hours. From Sassari to Olbia there are seven routes in both directions. Travel time is almost two hours. The railway station is located in the center of the town of Olbia. You can easily reach the railway station by taking bus n.2 or n.10 from the airport (from 7:30 a.m. every quarter-hour) to the stop in Gabriele D’Annunzio Street, in front of the huge plaza with train platforms
Shuttle bus
From the airport you can take the shuttle bus ARST (079 2639200 – 079 2639206) 30 minutes ride to reach the town center of Sassari.
